Lead, qualified lead, deal: what we agree on before launch

A contact on its own is worth little to a developer or a clinic. What matters is how many contacts become buyers or patients and what one buyer costs. So we count three units and agree on them before launch. The KPI goes on the qualified lead: it can be checked in the CRM in the first month, while a deal at a premium ticket takes weeks to close

UnitWhat it isHow we use it
LeadAny contact: form, message, callCounted, but no KPI on it
Qualified leadA contact that meets the criteria: budget, timing, country, language, real intentKPI on cost per qualified lead written into the contract
DealA payment, contract or treatment booked in your CRMPassed back to the ad platforms so the algorithms look for similar buyers

Example: at NextPoint Condominium on Phuket the form appeared only after a quiz on budget and timing, and Meta Ads optimized toward qualified leads. 45% of inquiries qualified, at $20 per qualified lead

Payment

Payment models and the KPI in the contract

Lead generation agencies sell on one of four models. The model decides what the contractor fights for: lead volume or buyers

ModelHow it worksRisk for you
Pay per leadA fixed price for each inquiryVolume pays the contractor, lead quality drops, and your sales team absorbs the rejects
Percentage of ad spendThe fee grows with spendThe contractor earns more by spending more, not by spending better
Share of salesA cut of revenue from the CRMAttribution disputes, full access to sales data, long settlement periods
Fee plus KPIA fee for the work and a KPI on cost per qualified lead in the contractNeeds a clear definition of a qualified lead before launch

We work on fee plus KPI: our fee starts at $750 a month, and you pay the ad budget directly to the platforms. The KPI for cost per qualified lead is agreed before launch and written into the contract. If we miss it, we keep working at no charge until we hit it. If the diagnostics show the numbers cannot work, we say so before the contract

Verticals

Cost per lead and qualified lead in our cases

Ranges from published English case studies, not market averages. "calc." means the budget, or leads times cost per lead, divided by the number of deals in the same case. Period and details are in each case; the first column links to the market page

Vertical and marketCost per leadQualified lead, booking, dealCases
Real estate: Thailand, Phuket $8 (condo developer) qualified lead $20 (NextPoint), $50 after relaunch (Sea Inside); deal under $1,500 (Laguna) Phuket Developer: 12 deals; The Title: 7+ deals a month, 8 months in a row; Laguna: 50+ deals
Real estate: Dubai $78 deal ≈$1,521 (calc.) at a $450K average ticket Dubai Real Estate: 12 deals with Russian-speaking investors
Real estate: Georgia - qualified lead $30 Domex Group: $30 per qualified lead, two language groups
Clinics and medical travel - qualified lead $20 (Mexico, patients from the US and Canada); booking $11-27; closed case or contract ≈$537-944 (calc.) Euro Dental: 45% of leads qualified; Prague: 9 all-on contracts in 28 days; Dubai orthodontics: 41 cases closed
Tourism: Phuket $4.19 35% of leads qualified (Zapiski ob Azii) excursions: lead at $4.19; Zapiski ob Azii: 11,400 leads in a year

Channels

Channels: where the buyers are

We pick the channel by the buyer's country and language, not by habit. Each channel has its own minimum budget: below it the algorithms do not collect enough data to learn on qualified leads

ChannelWhen it fitsMinimum budgetExample
Meta AdsInternational buyers, several language groups, real estate, tourism, clinics$3,000 a monthThe Title: 7+ deals a month
Google AdsSearch demand abroad: Dubai, Europe, medical travel, expat services$2,500 a monthPrague clinic with Meta: 9 contracts in 28 days
Telegram AdsAn extra channel for Russian-speaking audiences in the Gulf, Southeast Asia and EuropeAlongside a main channeldental clinic in Minsk: booking at $4.4
Yandex Direct and VK AdsOnly for buyers inside Russia and the CISQuoted in the media plandetails in Russian

Creative, landing pages and quizzes are made inside the team. Leads are tied to campaigns and deals to leads through end-to-end analytics

Lead quality

How we filter out junk leads

A cheap lead that never picks up the phone costs more than an expensive one that buys. We hold quality at five levels, from the ad to the sales desk

  1. A quiz before the form

Questions on budget, timing and intent come before the phone field. The algorithm learns from people who completed the quiz, not from any click. That is how we ran NextPoint: 45% of inquiries qualified

  2. Qualified lead criteria before launch

Budget, timing, country, language and what counts as a reject go into the media plan. At Sea Inside a new offer for Russian speakers and an English-language audience took the cost per qualified lead from $200 to $50

  3. Deals from the CRM back to the ad platforms

Funnel stages go to Meta and Google as offline conversions. On Laguna properties, training the ads on closed deals brought 50+ deals at under $1,500 per deal

  4. Rejected leads excluded

Rejects from the CRM are exported on a schedule and excluded from targeting, as in the Andaman City case: 1,287 inquiries, 5 deals and ≈$1.44M in sales on a $24,200 budget since the start

  5. Lead handling checked

Response speed, the first-touch script, reasons for rejects. We set up the CRM and train the sales desk when leads get lost after the form: sales support, details in Russian

Pricing

Pricing and what is included

Our fee: from $750 a month

Fixed in the media plan once markets, channels, language groups, landing pages and creative volume are clear. It covers the media plan, campaign setup and management, pixel and Conversions API, quiz or lead form, creative batches, deals passed back from the CRM and a weekly report: spend, leads, qualified leads, deals. International clients are invoiced in USD or EUR. Details on the pricing page

Ad budget: from $2,000 a month for Southeast Asia and Dubai

Below that the algorithms do not collect enough data to optimize on qualified leads. Dubai and premium Phuket projects need a higher start. Clinics start at $2,000 a month for clinics outside Russia. The budget is paid directly to Meta or Google

FAQ

Questions about lead generation

Short answers about budgets, timelines, reporting and how we work. If your question is not here, write to us: we reply within 1-2 hours during working hours

Ask your question
What does a lead generation agency actually deliver?
People who left a contact and a request: a form, a WhatsApp or Telegram message, a call, quiz answers. We generate them through paid advertising and judge the result by qualified leads and deals in your CRM, not by the number of contacts
What is the difference between a lead and a qualified lead?
A lead is any contact. A qualified lead meets criteria we agree with you before launch: budget, purchase timing, country, language, real intent. For example, at NextPoint Condominium on Phuket 45% of inquiries qualified and a qualified lead cost $20. Reports and KPIs are based on qualified leads
Do you sell leads at a fixed price per lead?
No. Paying per lead pushes the contractor to chase volume at the expense of quality. We work on a fee plus KPI model: our fee starts at $750 a month, you pay the ad budget directly to the platforms, and the KPI for cost per qualified lead is agreed before launch and written into the contract
What happens if the KPI is not met?
The KPI for cost per qualified lead is written into the contract. If we miss it, we keep working at no charge until we hit it. If the diagnostics show the numbers cannot work, because the product, ticket or budget will not reach the target cost per lead, we say so before the contract
How much does lead generation cost?
Two parts. Our fee starts at $750 a month and is fixed in the media plan before launch. The ad budget for real estate starts at $2,000 a month for Southeast Asia and Dubai, for clinics at $2,000 a month for clinics outside Russia; you pay it directly to the ad platforms. The cost of a lead depends on the vertical and market, and the table on this page shows it by case
When will the first leads come in?
First impressions within 48 hours of media plan approval, first inquiries usually on day 4-5. During the first 2-4 weeks the algorithms learn on qualified leads, so we assess the cost per qualified lead honestly after that period
Do you handle leads in several languages?
Yes. Each language group gets its own campaign and offer, and qualification criteria are set per group. In our cases we ran up to four language groups at once, for example English, Russian, Polish and Arabic for Laguna properties on Phuket
Who owns the ad accounts, the leads and the contact base?
You do. Ad accounts, pixels, audiences and every lead stay with you after the engagement ends. You have read access to the ad account and analytics from day one, so every figure in the report can be checked
